So jermaine beckford has been told he is free to find another club!
Now I'm pro Pearson, but even I have to say this could be a massive mistake!
Beckford is off

Foxello,
There was a pretty good debate about this issue (Beckford/Waghorn/players that run around) on the Beckford thread (a few threads down). I think you should have a read through it. It might help you to not come across as quite so patronising.

There's nothing in that thread that I haven't heard or seen a million times already. Players who run around = fans favourites, players who conserve their energy = nasty villains. Because, you see, fans have been conditioned into thinking that all players, regardless of their position or playing style, should be working hard, chasing every ball, harrassing opponents, getting 'stuck in' and being a general nuisance. Those who aren't seen to be doing these are vilified by the masses, and this is enhanced when media mouthpieces like Alan Young stick the boot in.

Then you should be taking it on board. There is a presumption on here (not just from you I might add) that if you doubt Beckford’s ability then you haven’t got the football intellect to spot a player of genuine quality. That you like players who run around a lot. That you like Martyn Waghorn.
Simply not true!
I, for example, have reservations about Beckford’s ability, but also have serious reservations about Waghorn’s ability. I’d pick Yakubu before either of them and he’s probably the laziest of the three.
From what I’ve seen there is very little evidence of an “anti-JB brigade”. Most who do question his ability are prepared to put forward a coherent argument and most also reach the conclusion that they’d prefer to keep him. Put forward your point of view by all means, but your latest comment: “I hope the anti-JB brigade get what they and this rotten club deserve - Waghorn running around like a headless chicken for the entire season. After all, he works hard, right?” is not really enhancing the debate, but just feeding your own blinkered view of the merits of Nigel Pearson.

I believe JB scored for the reserves today in a 2-2 draw against york.

He did score;

Put money on him to score against Burton as well - the irony !

Still doesn't seem to be a jot of reporting to back up what 'fourthofficial' has said on twitter.
Although The Sun are today rumouring that Leeds are set to put in a £2m bid...which I find unlikely to be honest.

Yes, perhaps some of us ought to at least wait until there is something official before we go into and apoplectic rant against the manager.
Or maybe not ....

Chances of Beckford getting a brace tonight and Pearson coming out and saying he has not been put on the transfer list?
Talking of Pearson's interviews has anyone noticed that as 'Wellll...' is to Sven, 'Hey, listen...' is to Nigel?

Nothing official yet, but there never is when it comes to pearson and transfers, not until te deal is done! I'm not saying he is definitely up for sale, just that the lack of officialty doesn't mean it's not happening
