There's a lot of flack being thrown at Ally after yesterday's performance and result.
For me the players need to take a good long hard look in the mirror.
We had Alexander, Perry, Bocanegra, Little, McCulloch, Black and Sandaza on the park yesterday along with some new signings and young lads.
The guys mentioned were playing SPL football last season and didnt look out of place.
Yesterday they struggled to compete with Berwick Rangers.
Now people can say the manager should be getting the tactics right, the manager should be getting the players motivated, the manager should be getting the most out of the team.
The players have to respond though...the manager could work his socks off doing everything he can to get his team ready for a match...but come kick off, if the players just cant be ersed then there isnt much he can do about it.
I am very glad to see Ally, for the first time as far as I can rememebr, publicly get stuck into his players.
If these guys cant cut it in the third division then how the hell did they ever cut it in the SPL??
For me yesterday was nothing other than a display of a total lack of care, respect, effort, attitude and application on the players part.
Just look at the corner where the goal was disallowed again....just watch it.
Do any of the players actually look interested....at all...any of them??
Just about every single one of them is standing there watching things happen......now WTF can the manager do about that, seriously??.....its 1-1, its late in the game, the opposition have a corner, and our entrie team is just standing watching things!!
Its not a manager's job to tell players to give a fck in that situation surely!!
I dont believe we need new signings, we have a good enough team here.
But each and every one of the guys that think this season is going to be an easy ride needs a real kick up the erse and I hope this result, our reaction to it and McCoist, this time, not defending his players goes half way to delivering that boot....the rest is up to these guys to show themselves!
The players need to have a professional attitude.....no manager should have to work hard to get that out of his players.....they are paid to be professional footballers, its their job to at least have a professional attitude, not a careless, couldnt give a fck one!!
I blame the players

WTF is the matter with calling them by what they do in their day jobs? It's obviously just to illustrate the level of opposition The Franchise are up against. Big fakin deal.
