This will be the best transfer deal of the window if it does go ahead.
No offense to Jay, can't fault his work rate, he just hasn't got the brains to make it at the top level. Think he will do ok for a mid/low table team, which is why we finished there last season.
There is now way he can get into our midfield now unless there are massive injuries.

he's a solid cm with a very good engine
no, he's not going to transform a top side but he's a solid premiership player.

He's a good journeyman player and you'll get a good workrate for 90 minutes out of him, and that's something some of the so called 'quality' players could learn from.
If he goes I wish him all the best.........

spearing isn't as bad as people make out. £3million i think is a good deal for both parties. he's certainly a solid premier league player in my book. all he needs to do is sort out his passing range.

Spearing just tries to do too much for me lol!

I pity him, he tries too hard! He can make it in lower end of the pl table.............ofcourse using end of the season standings.

BBC news says he's been signed by Bolton for £3M. A good player, but not good enough to help LFC challenge for a top 4 spot. Great engine in him. JimmyTheRed
