Is this year's US Open the best chance Andy Murray has of winning that maiden Grand Slam?
He has a rest day on Sunday whilst Ferrer and Djokovic have to play their semi-final after it was postponed.
Either way Murray will face a very difficult test in the final. Djokovic is the defending champion, but I like the look of Ferrer in recent tournaments.
US Open champion?
Murray's best chance to win a Slam?

To be honest you are right with most of this, and maybe all of it if Nole always will be better than Andy. You are certain of that?
Tomorrow is going to be a defining moment in Andys entire career, because as Rafa struggles with his fitness, and Feds slowly begins to fade away, Nole is going to be around for years.
It's a tough match to call me thinks.

Chesty, ask yourself how many you've said/heard the first line of the second paragraph.
Stop burdening the lad. He's doing his best.

That's true and luckily Andy Murray has better things to do with his time than sit on ja606 and feel the pressure we apply on him

"we" are nothing compared what he has to listen to EVERY day from the press.

Best chance since the last time? What has changed? Not a huge amount TBH...Murray playing well with confidence but so is the Joker...odds again against Murray IMO - just not quite as good a player as Djokovic when both on form.
Has a player ever lost their first five Slams on the bounce?
If Murray does win though, it will probably be between him and Wiggo for SPOTY.

Djokovic isnt better when both on top form.
Difference is Djokovic can stay on his top form for 5 sets- Murray normally can only sustain his very best for a couple of sets against top players- then he sort of fades to just 'playing well' which isnt enough agaisnt Nadal ,federer or Djokovic.

I really do hate the 'I hope Murray loses' attitiude.
If you arent British then fine- I know not everyone on ja606 is.
But he is without doubt the best player to have ever come from GB in regards to talent- and the BS reasons given for not lliking him such as he doesnt smile enough are just pathetic.

To sum it up Nole is a better player. Always has been, always will be.

If Murray brings his 'A' game, Murray wins!
