Hullo peepel
Another slow start yesterday but came through to get the result in the end. Been thinking about this for a while I don't think it's anything to do with Mccoist's tactics etc as a manager, it's more to do with Rangers been a completly new team!
For the first time I thought our defence was fairly solid yesterday all be it we lost a very defendable goal, that a side the defence to midfield link up was good. I was really impressed with Black yesterday not sure who got man of the match but Black was mine
Shields has the first touch of a rino but scored a good goal also thought young McLoud was fantastic as well scored a cracker & is showing he's a real prospect. Was gutted when the likes of Ness, McCabe etc left but Murray Park is proving that theres a fairly good convair belt of talent coming through McKay didn't have his beat game yesterday but your bound to have a below par performance now & again. Also another young guy coming on Crawford & scored a good goal
Things are looking up hopefully we can go on & do the business against Motherwell will be tuff but fingers crossed
Thought us the fans were AGAIN superb, another good atmosphere & another good attendance 45,081 3rd highest in Britain
Yesterdays performance

Mackay was gettin ragdolled by that fullback and a coupla the midfielders, wee Aird came on and sorted that oot. Didn't look out of place at all. All the boys played well, sandaza however....rapidly gettin fed right up wi that cant

Thought the first 20 mins or so as soon as we reached the halfway line, it was long ball punted up front. Did much better keeping it on the ground and surging forward as a passing team. Agree with others, always support the team and management, it was never going to be easy, just glad that we are playing (and talking) about football again.

Don't get me wrong I still think he is a decent keeper. However, we don't exactly have any competition for him. He has been a great servant to the club and more than deserves his chance any No1. I would like to see someone from Murray Park getting a chance tho at some point

Personally, I thought Sandaza had one of his better games yesterday, in a Rangers shirt.
He would have had his goal too if he wasn't chopped down going through onto the goalie.
Can't believe that wasn't a red or that play wasn't allowed to continue...
Also thought Faure had a decent game too.
Like everyone else though, I was most impressed with the kids.
Aird and MaCleod put in great shifts and the 2 other lads didnt look out of place either.
Was a lacklustre first half, but I'm guessing McCoist got stuck in at half time, because the difference was like night and day

Agreed DC
I thought ref did very well allowing the game to continue for Jigs goal. Was crazy he didn't do the same again. Inconsistency at its finest!

never saw the montrose game but the rangers defence against QOS was very poor and they will be punished against motherwell .
