Absolutely wonderful to see so many young guys emerging . having to rebuild a team from scratch was never going to be an easy job and it will still take a bit of time but we must continue to get right behind the lads even although it wont be plain sailing all the way
Always good to see young players doing well. And given how many of the youngsters that didn't make it for us have made succesful careers elsewhere I think if the older heads don't shine then its only right more youngsters are given a chance.
"Enjoyed the second half yesterday, but lets not kid ourselves we are playing teams like Montrose."
Can understand where people are coming from with this point....but "teams like Montrose" are going to be our opposition for the next year at least, then it could be teams like Brechin and Stenhousemuir, and then it could be teams like Partick and Morton.
If we have young kids or anyone doing well against these teams, these are players we need in our team, while we are playing these teams.
Sandaza has played at a higher level and played againt the likes of St Mirren and Killie and Inverness and did not to badly....but he's been utter $hite against East Strilingshire, Annan, Peterhead and Berwick.
Lets not kid ourselves on in that respect either.
We need players that are going to do a job for us in the here and now as well as players for the future.
Enjoy good second halfs regardless of who the opposition is.
Embrace anyone that is looking good and playing well in a Rangers shirt and dont put them or the team performance down coz "the opposition is pi$h"
Good football is good football...doesnt matter if its against Montrose or Motherwell
Agree with your sentiments on Mackay his passing was terrible yesterday and he looked a bit shy in the tackle but he's just 17 plenty time to develop.
Black had an ok game the dig in midfeild that we need and the young guy that came on on the left hand side looked promising.
The Greek boy didnt look out of place further up the park.
Sandaza is a worse signing than kyle in my opinion shocking doesnt seem to wan to pass whenits the easier option rather than running staight into defenders. Maybe its just his demeanor but looks to have a bat attitude

What are your thoughts on Alexander guys? For me he is very much hit and miss. I've felt that alot of the sloppy goals we have conceded he has been at fault for. Not always entirely but certainly could have done a better job.
Mackay was gettin ragdolled by that fullback and a coupla the midfielders, wee Aird came on and sorted that oot. Didn't look out of place at all. All the boys played well, sandaza however....rapidly gettin fed right up wi that cant
Thought the first 20 mins or so as soon as we reached the halfway line, it was long ball punted up front. Did much better keeping it on the ground and surging forward as a passing team. Agree with others, always support the team and management, it was never going to be easy, just glad that we are playing (and talking) about football again.
Agreed chris, always thought Alexander was a bit of a bombscare, pulls aff some crackin saves at times, then he'll dae somethin yer just left thinkin WTF??
Don't get me wrong I still think he is a decent keeper. However, we don't exactly have any competition for him. He has been a great servant to the club and more than deserves his chance any No1. I would like to see someone from Murray Park getting a chance tho at some point

Personally, I thought Sandaza had one of his better games yesterday, in a Rangers shirt.
He would have had his goal too if he wasn't chopped down going through onto the goalie.
Can't believe that wasn't a red or that play wasn't allowed to continue...
Also thought Faure had a decent game too.
Like everyone else though, I was most impressed with the kids.
Aird and MaCleod put in great shifts and the 2 other lads didnt look out of place either.
Was a lacklustre first half, but I'm guessing McCoist got stuck in at half time, because the difference was like night and day
BB true mate
Don't know whit the ref was thinkin there,I think the fact we scored in a similar fashion not long before it
Well impressed wi Aird and Mcleod took his goal well,as did wee crawford
Agreed DC
I thought ref did very well allowing the game to continue for Jigs goal. Was crazy he didn't do the same again. Inconsistency at its finest!
I cant say i was at the ame as I was still out from saturday
those party flats in town arent good for yer liver
never saw the montrose game but the rangers defence against QOS was very poor and they will be punished against motherwell .
