Great to see BR replacing players who havent performed with thos that have....sounds simple to do but many managers refuse to do it.

Some managers have their favourites or are pressured into playing underperforming big money buys, glad brendan is sending the message,if you don't do the business,ya off the team,it'll do for me!

Am I the only one who wasn't that impressed with Wisdom against West Brom. I have no doubt of his ability but he gave away a fair bit of possession, his touch seemed to be heavy most the time. Lets hope he's up to scratch today.

Got_Better you are spot on. Kenny was one such perpetrator of that crime - even if he brought in Maxi or Kuyt and they scored, you knew they would be out of the team the next week. Rewarding players for their efforts is how you build competition within a squad and creates a team ethic. Well done Brendan

Brendan seems to be a master in getting the best out of players. Rewarding them for good performances by retaining there place in the team. I've got a good gut feeling we will see a handful of players hit good form in the next few months, Assaidi, Sterling, Suso especially.

No desire to put a dampener on proceedings, but how long has it been since we've had a whole tranche of young players, Suso, Pacheco, Wisdom Robertson, Flanno, and not forgetting the wee man himself, Sterling come through from the youth? That's bad management, hopefully. Ehind us now. jimmyTheRed
