I would've said probably the best player in the back four. I know people can overrate young players when they first start off but he genuinely looked as experienced as the rest (except perhaps for the last goal but then Skrtel had a bigger shocker for that one).

Hope he gets a chance in the middle although we have so many young centre backs it's mad. Coates, Kelly (it'll happen!), Wisdom, Wilson, Sama...

To see a player like Wisdom come though and perform well in a position he doesn't normally play in is a testament to his ability. He is very raw but already looks like he is a first team player.

I agree with Aggers. especially in the first 10-15 mins, he looked out of his depth. After a few challenges however, despite being caught out of position more than once, he came into the game. He didn't have the same effect as Suso or Sterling, but, early days, wait and see. jimmyTheRed

Pretty much what ARE and JTR said. He had a decent game. Looked fairly assured, but also looked a little naive at times. Very promising though.

I'm still quite surprised at the lack of opportunities for Enrique though.

Enrique was woeful last time he played wisdom has played better so he should get the chance

Despite his stalwart efforts in the first half of last season, Jose's star seems to have faded. The competition is now too fierce; it will be a case of him slipping down the pecking order as younger, better players edge him down the line. Sad,but that's our club and that's what we want of our club. Has anyone noticed, post-Young Boys, post-WBA, post- Norwich how Andy C is no longer mentioned? JimmyTheRed
