Watching MOTD for the first time in ages and I can't help but notice the freekicks and the penalty Carroll was given for the same type of things that he was never given for us. Repeatedly he was bundled over when playing for us and nothing was given but for West Ham, he's given them.

Allardyce get plenty of stick but he knows how to get the best out of AC. He has never been given the chance by BR and that's a shame.

Indeed. He could have played from the bench, considering we don't have a striker in the bench and I ha've no doubt he wwould have forced himself into the team with Suarez and Sterling wide of him.

There's a reason Brendan didn't give him a chance. Perhaps he doesn't fit into his system? Some will disagree though

Perhaps, something which I doubt but he wasnt given a chance to show that he does.

But you need to do it in training before getting a chance. You wont get a chance just because you cost £35m

He only had a few training sessions as he was away at the Euro's and then had extended leave with the rest of the players. That's just an excuse you've made up. The fact is, he wasn't given a chance.

Brendan is a realist. A traditional centre forward does not suit Liverpool. Andy Carroll is ideal for West Ham and Sam Allardyce whose style is pretty prehistoric.

No he didn't have a few training session and I don't know what I've made up. He had over a month of training sessions with Brendan. That's not few.

It's funny how everybody jumps on the bandwagon also. Has anybody watched West Ham at all this season? They are playing some great football. Not long ball stuff.
