I was thinking the same.
Yes WUMs the whole world is against us, ok?
Now you don't have to say it
I was thinking that there would be a comment of that type at some stage when I was creating the article.
I thought i'd save them the trouble
I wasn't being sarcastic with the answer TOOR.
It was the same when Crouch played for us too.
To be honest I think it's because referees don't want to be seen to favour the big clubs, so they go too far the other way.
It's probably subconscious and they don't even realise they are doing it, but cliches like 'you never get decisions at Anfield and Old Trafford' have been around for a long time and are probably inside referees heads.
I'd say there is an element of that but also I think some of them enjoy the bandwagons like finding it funny Carroll cost £35m and wasn't performing or Suarez goes down too easily so not giving him anything.

Yeah Crouch always gets done for fouling when he hasn't and barely gets freekicks when he's fouled.
I reckon there were at least six or seven times Carroll was fouled in the box last season and didn't get anything.
Crouch only has to move his arms and the ref blows for a freekick.
Refs are heightist.
The FA need a kick heightism out of football campaign....

Watching MOTD for the first time in ages and I can't help but notice the freekicks and the penalty Carroll was given for the same type of things that he was never given for us.

Thought exactly the same thing.
Then again we're always the victims
notice the freekicks and the penalty Carroll was given for the same type of things that he was never given for us. Repeatedly he was bundled over when playing for us and nothing was given but for West Ham, he's given them.

How about the penalty shout against Newcastle when Liverpool played them, cant believe he never got that

every fan knows we aren't as big or as successful as we used to be but we've still won 10 trophies in the last 11 years. Yet this is apparently an unsuccessful period according to most rival fans. If that's unsuccessful then that says to me we are still seen as a big club as we are expected to do even better
carroll on the other hand did play a blinder tho
I remember I used to groan whenever I saw Crouchy's name on the team sheet in the Champions League, the referees in Europe were particularly ridiculous with their treatment of him.
He'd stand still and defenders would run into his back and get free kicks.
Loved it today when the fans cheered the Suarez free kick, the Ref was not happy!

Liverpool are one of the most successful teams in English football with a record in Europe that any team would be proud of, its about time they showed the football world it again.
Andy has played a blinder every week. Fantastic cemtre forward. When hes not scoring, he drags 3 defenders away to create goals
Yes Tomkins but it won't be long if he doesn't score when your fans, if they're as annoying as ours, get on his back.
There is a reason for that. Andy Carroll plays for West Ham who are managed by Fergies former lover Sam Allardyce and thats why he gets these decisions.
Allardyce get plenty of stick but he knows how to get the best out of AC. He has never been given the chance by BR and that's a shame.
Indeed. He could have played from the bench, considering we don't have a striker in the bench and I ha've no doubt he wwould have forced himself into the team with Suarez and Sterling wide of him.
