This is not a Brendan out article. I am fully behind the manager.
However. In the summer I was a cheerleader for the 'bring back Rafa' drive and I was wondering how people feel a few months on.
I have had the pleasure of meeting Rafa in the Empire Theatre and at 27, the best Liverpool team i've seen were Rafa's reds. Challenging for Champions League and pushing top four most of the time. Torres, Alonso and Kuyt to name a few hero's too.
Short sighted not to even interview a man clearly interested in continuing a job cut short by cowboys that had no long term plan for the club anyway. H and G should have left BEFORE they sacked RAFA. They had no right.
Discuss.

Rafas team was solid and extremely functional.
We concede from set pieces for fun nowadays and cant defend for toffee.
Howevers BR's management of the players and his attacking vision is what was missing during Rafas tenure.

On a serious note i think losing Paco Ayestarán messed up Rafa's tenure.
I would love to have him back. The players spoke so highly of Paco.

Oh dear god not this again. Rafa is the best manager we've had in over twenty years but two managers have come and gone since and the third has me really optimistic about the future.
Plus Rafa will probably get the Milan job.

Brendan is the future. He'll be a better manager than Rafa at his peak. We just need to support him and let him build a proper team.
Yesterday is the first we conceded directly from setpiece..

Why the hell was I mentioned?
I'm Rafa's biggest fan but I'd rather have Brendan now. I wanted Rafa in at the start but Brendan won me over.

Rafa and FSG will never ever work. Under FSG he will never come to Liverpool.

If Rodgers was to go I'd have Rafa back no problem.
However at the moment I am fully behind our manager and believe he is directing the club in the right direction.
