Joint England/India teams...

On the sub:

Sehwag
Cook
Trott
Pieterson
Tendulkar
Kohli
Prior wk
Ashwin
Swann
Broad
Anderson

Away from the sub:

Sehwag
Cook
Trott
Pieterson
Bell
Kohli
Prior wk
Swann
Broad
Finn
Anderson

Presume my teams may get a hammering by some. What these teams cant show is mindset - In Englands case, their fear in the sub continent.

Zaheer purely left out because because many say he isn't the same player.

Sehwag is such a dangerous player regardless of form.

Whilst we are on the subject of England and India. I saw an article on the news today about the war in 1944 and how British and Indian troops worked together to protect an area in India from the Japanese.

It was good to see and puts things in perspective.

No, it is not. Aid should continue at least until 2047 which will mark 100 years of independent. After all the treasures they looted from India, they are complaining about a measly annual £250mn.

Agreed Neon. My paternal heritage was from South Asia and part of the commonwealth. I respect your view on India wanting to go it alone.

As a country, India has immense potential - I believe it's economic rise is tesrament to this. A huge country with a huge population.

Very traditional and from what I have seen from British Asians in the UK, hard working and keen on education.

If India can remove it's corruption issuesin fairness this does happen everywhere) and progress with some of the better values from the west - more female involvement, equal rights for all - It could become a big player in the world.
