PES 2013

Finally a great game of Football brought to us by Konami after maybe 2/3 of a decade. This is hopefully a thread that will allow all 3(?) people who probably own it to post about what they love, hate, are curious about.

As far as I'm concerned, this year PES takes the throne back. The game play is so well balanced and fun. No doubt there will be others who will question the game and reviews as Konami has let us down so many times each year but those people will only be missing out. To me game play is what its all about anyway.

The menus are extremely dull. The music bad but a few tracks. It has all the game modes you would expect except for a surprising and disappointing absence of the 2 on 2 game mode.

Licensing, well, its Konami. Get an Option File. It takes about 5 mins to find and download to a flash drive and about 20 mins to upload onto the PS3. Well worth it and little to no hassle especially with PS3 having a new multi-file-copy option.

I had FIFA for 2 weeks before I decided to buy PES and while I enjoyed FIFA at a minor level I knew it wasnt for me. I then bought PES thinking this would be the year I'd return both games and forget about football games for a while. Fortunately I was VERY wrong. Do yourselves a favour and at the very least rent the game for a week. You wont be disappointed.
