Everton needed the money. He was rather good for Everton I thought. His goal against Chelsea was class.

I like him, Was quite hoping he would remain in a Town shirt for the rest of the season,,,,,,, I didnt think he was such a fairy with regard to injuries though !,,,,,

He used to get a seasonal hamstring injury with us. Usually around November, out for a month.

As soon as I read.....
"..reported by the BBC"........

.

WAKE UP.

Nothing of this was mentioned on any thread during the game, or by eye witnessed reports afterwards....

You couldn't make this stuff up....

Oh , 'They' just did.

As a Jewish Leeds fan, here's my two penn'orth.

I don't find y id offensive......... whether it be in football or elsewhere, UNLESS it is used to treat me differently than they otherwise would have done if they thought I wasn't Jewish.....does that make sense?

If fans were singing 'town full of y ids' that doesn't bother me, if there were chants about holocaust however, i would find that offensive as that is deliberately trying to upset about a hugely grotesque and painful subject for most every Jew.

Hope this makes sense.

I'm glad we agree on something, Jonty!

Good to have some input from Jonty.I went to secondary school in Leeds and am still in touch with my Jewish friends from those days, many of whom are Leeds fans.Personally,I don't like the word being used here as reference to Jewish people, and regard it as derogatory, much as the Japanese
are offended by the shortened version of their nationality .I think, ultimately it comes down to what individual people find offensive or not,and the old adage-"it's not what you say,but the way that you say it " applies.
