pirelli have promised to create there new softer 2013 spec tyres with the intention of making it very tactically challenging for the drivers which will favour the very intelligent tactical savvy drivers like vettel and alonso ,
however --- will this work against hamilton , lewis of course is a very good driver and has allways had very good pace over a single lap but has never been known for any tactical intelligence over a race distance and i believe has never mastered the pirelli tyre in the way vettel and alonso have -
tactical intelligence and tyre preservation finesse is something you either have or you dont have , prost and senna had it in spades , vettel and alonso would seem to have a little more than most from the current era -
will hamiltons lack of tactical intelligence and finesse as far as tyre preservation with the less durable 2013 spec tyre come back to haunt lewis over the coming season in his quest for the WDC ?
i am afraid to say i think it will ---

is hamilton disadvantaged by 2013 tyre spec

It is amusing that a world champion and a winner of races every year in a car that isn't always the best on the grid is not considered intelligent.
Apart from Hamilton, only Alonso and Kimi can say they've done that in recent memory consistently.
Makes no sense whatsoever

be interested to hear about the races that hamilton has won by merit when he has"nt had the best car --
lets put it another way manx - at monaco the one solitary race of the year when the performance of thedriver can make a real difference on a track that is a great car leveler hamilton is very often blown off

Monaco isn't a car leveler because whoever's in pole wins the race most of the time.
A very unintelligent example. China 2 years ago was an example of Hamilton winning in a car that wasn't the fastest on the grid.

why cant hamilton put his car on pole at monaco and win then manx -
as for china 2011 -- the mclarens were ultra competitive all weekend at shanghai that year manx and vettel had major KERS problems during the race and webber started 18th or whatever it was in qual
without KERS at china with one of the longest straits on the calender a driver is at a major disadvantage , so lets have it right hamilton had an ultra competitive car and his closest rivals didnt on the day because of KERS and communication problems and severe problems in qual --
---- better luck next time manx

There are a lot of drivers who haven't been on pole. Hamilton has won there though so I'm not sure what point you are trying to make.
Considering how difficult it is to overtake there even when you car is so superior to others, only someone who isn't very bright would use it as an example.
Hamilton has won races in cars that aren't the fastest on the grid, that is a fact and Alonso, continues to praise him for his ability to do this.
You will of course forgive me for valuing his opinion more than a troll on the wind up

fully aware there are many drivers " who havent been on pole " at monaco - what has that got to do with anthing manx ?
the point i made about monaco is that it is a great leveler of cars and hamilton with the possible exception of early 09 has allways had cars that have been capable of obtaining pole and winning at monaco and yet his record at monaco is relatively very poor considering the machinery he has had from day 1 of his career -
as for him winning in cars that have not been ultra competitive------- ---- when
you named china 2011 and i blew that out of the water with cold hard facts --

dear dear me manx i expected better from you mate -
i have allways been very civil to you but true to the breed of most hamilton fan boys when you are faced with an alternative objective opinion of genuine substance about your little hero that you cant counter you resort to insults ------
----- on a forum such as this you have to be mature enough to realise that everybody is entitled to there opinion mate ,
i am entitled to mine as you are entitled to yours and believe it or not i respect everybodys opinion even if i dont agree with them , just because my opinion is different from yours about hamilton does not make me a bad person -
however such is the nature of sports forums if anybody wants to contradict my opinion they are welcome to try ,fraid to say as soon as they resort to silly name calling and insults when they dont have the nous to contradict my opinion ----------- they have lost

Let's cut to the chase shall we. You are not here for any debate, I know what you do and choose not to play your silly games.
You can play that game with your Hamilton hating friends. I have no interest in doing that.
I tried to give you a chance but I won't bother anymore.
New year, same old garbage. It's boring, childish and quite frankly stupid

manx mate --- i will give you all the debate you want on any formula 1 related subject and providing you are civil with me i will show you the same respect -
we are all entitled to our opinions about whatever driver , i have my opinions about every driver from de angelis and mansell in the 80s right up to the current quick boys and i have given my opinions on many , many , different drivers on various forums ,
however ---- for some unfathomable reason whenever i give my honest objective opinion about hamilton it irritates a handful of his infatuated supporters and so follows alot of mindless childish bollox such as we are exchanging now -
this is not my problem manx i am not the bad guy -- we are all entitled to give our opinion about whatever driver we like,
if hamiltons infatuated supporters cant stomache other peoples honest objective opinion about him they really need to take a long hard look at themselves and grow up
