Through gritted teeth I think it needs saying that Davies is a good manager and a large part of Derby fans resentment towards him comes from the fact he went to Forest.
I really want him to be unsuccessful but I have a horrible feeling that he is just what Forest need and it is this that really annoys me.
He gets right up Rams fans noses which of course The Dogs love.
So although he was appointed as a result of a twitter campaign it could be that Fawas has unwittingly pulled off a master stroke.
I wonder how many other Derby fans feel the way I do.
On the upside I can't wait for the next derby game, but conversely it could be a while off because their promotion chances in my opinion have just gone up.

I did hear that Davies' only problem was with this so-called 'aquisitions committee' after it kept vetoing his transfers.

Lol Vidal and others....love the banter but you know, love him or loathe him (he is not my first choice !) he got us to 2 play offs, he got you up ...he knows this league and he knows what it takes.
It will be an eventful "next stage" in the history of NFFC.
BTW just got to say "our Nige" is doing a great job with you and I am certainly not a dog with a bone to chew over you lot....competition in the East mids is great for the health.
