Just read quite an interesting article on the 'new' Joey Barton and his recent change of image. Having read some of his recent Tweets I have to say that I was somewhat puzzled by them in relation to his perceived image in the media. This article offers a few possible answers and is worth a read.

Hilarious - coming from a Citeh fan, that is ridiculous.

you are a big club, but you are a tinpot cub in that the club is run like a circus, no leadership, average manager, best players jumping ship - its not a great business model is it really?

You never know mate, it might be just the right business model.
Get rid of all your high-earners, take on cheap foreign labour.
Live within your means. It might catch on, you never know.

And get relegated to the lower divisions through lack of playing quality - sounds very ambitious and sound
