I'd like to re-brand him.....with a red-hot poker up the wrong 'un!
Very interesting, it all becomes clear now, certainly makes sense.

Yeh I think the guy has a point. Not sure if the tasche point is really part of the rebranding, but the other stuff he says makes sense.
Now he's a clever thug, perhaps he should take up rugby Union..

Yes but they all respect the referee. Sure they like to stick their fingers in each others' eyes and other certain orifices, but they do call the ref sir!
Quite right too.....except for the 'orifice' thing....obviously.
wait while he sets the winner up at your place He'll love it just love it
I am not a Newcastle fan but I think that Ashley is getting too much stick for this. Not saying the man has never done ther things badly, but when players start openly criticising the club and board, there is no way they can be accepted back in without looking extremely weak. It's a really brave decision. Shame is that the club and fans are the ones who ultimately suffer. I think he should have just banished him to the reserves for a year and make him see out his contract in humiliation.
I actually have some sympathy for Barton as I think the club want rid of him due to his wages. However, maybe I wouldn't be so sympathetic if I hadn't been duped by his clever marketing company?
I think fining him two weeks wages is a little bit over the top just because they were stupid enough to pay him so much in the first place
From a DCFC and an outsider in all this, ashley seems like an awful owner who knows naff all about football

Hilarious - coming from a Citeh fan, that is ridiculous.
You can't even sell your tickets in a stadium you were given, even though you have money thrown at you by your Middle Eastern owners.
Hitler's got the better 'tasche but Barton's a bigger b a stard! Have you noticed that people aren't naming their boys 'Joey' anymore?
FFS I thought that came from a newcastle fan. Take my comments about them being a big club back

despite the fact we have one of the biggest attendances in the league?
you are a big club, but you are a tinpot cub in that the club is run like a circus, no leadership, average manager, best players jumping ship - its not a great business model is it really?
You never know mate, it might be just the right business model.
Get rid of all your high-earners, take on cheap foreign labour.
Live within your means. It might catch on, you never know.
And get relegated to the lower divisions through lack of playing quality - sounds very ambitious and sound
