For me Ronaldo, Bale, Garay, Lewandowski and Modric are the main ones that spring to mind.
However, I think with both Nani and Ando possibly looking to leave, James Rodriguez will be the most talked about given Nani and Ando's connections to Portugal and possibly using them as a makeweight in any deal.
i'm opting for Bale in the early running though, just have half an incline that we will go for him in the summer.
Player of the tournament at this year's U-21 Championships may be worth a bet as well.
Top transfer target?

Vrf, what do you make of garay? Not as good as what we have if you ask me.

Don't know much about Garay, but a new CB is the last thing we need. We have 5 very good ones already.

Garay looked solid in the two legs I saw of him in the Europa, he doesn't suit a high line at all which Benfica play at home so he'd suit us since we usually play deep

If Rio is leaving this summer then I think a CB would be needed

Messi and Ronaldo should both be a priority for me this summer.

Would that mean no Ozil, Benzema and Sneidjer then?

Is Falcao at Carrington yet?

i'm sure Falcao is absolutely creaming with excitement at the thought of being supplied goal scoring chances by Valencia, and a striker playing out of position whose final ball matches the composure of his finishing.
similarly i'm sure Rodriguez is sitting watching a 60+cap Portuguese winger and the previous years German footballer of the year sitting on the bench constantly while ridiculously out of form players get played ahead of them.... and not thinking the same would happen to him.
pretty sure no potential midfield targets would see how Cleverley (despite being in decent form for most of the season and playing in every England WC game so far) gets dropped for a centre half and a 40 year old winger come the business end of the season as Fergie seems to have gone ultra cautious and have no concerns at all about signing.
Fergies will to win and determination have driven the side this year... probably to a title win.... i just fear some of the team selections, tactics, sidelining of any sort of flair players just may have longer lasting negative effects

Very good post. I completely agree.

If Rio leaves we do not need another centre half. Evans - more experienced and better than Garay - and Vidic would be our first choice and Smalling and Jones would finally have the opportunity to get some proper game time together in our cup games and act as excellent back up.
4 centre backs is more than enough. These 4 with Michael Keane to be recalled when out on loan if there was an unlikely crisis is fine.

Needed: 4 midfielders
We get: 4 strikers.
