Pardew looks to be a dead duck by all accounts, and it seems criminal for you to be where you are with the players he has at his disposal.
If you stay up - and I think you will after a crushing victory v Arsenal in the final game - I think Roberto Martinez would be the perfect fit for you.
He was my choice when Harry left, and would be my choice again if AVB left. He plays football the right way, never forgoes his principles, his teams thrive under pressure which reflects on his calmness, and seems one of the nicest blokes in football to boot.
At Wigan he has also had to incorporate lots of imports and mould them in to a side, before cruelly losing the best ones. With your recruiting policy (very shrewd in my opinion) I think he would do absolute wonders.

Or a competent referee who would like to give penalties......but that was one hell of improvement over last week. Why against West Ham?

Not sure. We were good first half, second half we played for the point which for us in the position we're in was odd. Putting Dan Gosling on was even odder. Reid is a good player.

Andy, perhaps someone told to Alan pardew that Wigan were losing..hence, he don't want to take the risk and try to earn a point.
Reid is an excellent player. Hope he stays for long term.

Na he just tends to do that second half in every away game no matter what the score. Its why we've only won once away from home all season!
