So Jacobs is going on loan to the wolves? is the end for him or the start of something good so he comes back a better player?

Marco not sure I’m going to make the cup replay on Tuesday so it’ll be a week on Saturday vs mighty Brentford before I get to see him in the flesh (assuming he plays).
Hope he lives up to the billing, Derby fans seem to rate him and Jackett’s signings to date have all done OK so it bodes well.
Good luck for the rest of the season

Tatter, once he improves his decision making, and removes a few little errors, he'll be a quality player. Sometimes his choice of pass, or his decision to try and take on another defender will be the wrong decision, but I personally like my wingers to attack, even if tackled, they should carry on, they only need to get past a couple of time.

How long is Jacobs going to Wolves for? While I do feel sorry for him, as I feel he's not been given a chance, it's better for him to be (hopefully) getting some first-team game time.
Maybe not quite Championship yet, but from what I've seen I think he'll do well in league 1. Hope he comes back a better player, I like Jacobs.

Rampant
Reports in our local rag say Jacobs won't be coming back if Jackett gets his way -
.................................................................
He wanted to sign him when manager of Millwall, but the chairman wouldn’t meet the £300,000 asking price. Jacobs eventually joined the Rams for around £400,000 in June 2012.
“It’s a loan move, but we’d love him to do well and join us permanently – that’s the idea,” said Jackett.
“The length of the agreement is only until January 2 but it’s ‘with a view’, definitely.

Jacob's is an attacking player. Our previous manager placed more emphasis on not getting beat than taking a risk or two to get the win, so he was more likely to be criticised for his positioning / tracking back / pass selection / workrate rather than praised for his pace / close control / desire to beat two or three men in a dribble.
I think going somewhere he will be appreciated for his positive qualities will do him good. I hope he still has a future with the Rams though - he's an exciting player.

He will get minutes soon enough and will be our Sako replacement for the longer term.

How did you judge him the other day?

Hi Mostyn I’ve seen him twice now and I’m impressed.
On his debut in Saturday he tried a little too hard often taking one touch too many or trying to beat his man twice when he only needed to beat him once but looked confident and skilled.
Last night he had a great game against admittedly poor opposition. Regularly beat his fullback, has pace, cut inside regularly but also delivered decent crosses.
Can we keep him please?

it's a mystery to me why he didn't get more game time here when we were struggling. He's always looked dangerous, and yeah, sometimes he got tackled or ran into a dead-end, but you only need to get through once.
I reckon being dropped effected him in training and he didn't impress, sending him to the Wolves might liven him up a bit.
Personally, I want to keep him. But £8m and I'll let you keep him
