Dunno.

In the past, when a player left on loan, that was often the first step in him leaving the club, generally labelled 'surplus to requirements'.

Perhaps it's to allow him to further his development for both his and Derby's benefit by getting a bit of game time - or perhaps it's the same as before.

Apparently it's with a view to a permanent.

Good luck to him, hope he does well for them - he needs to be playing first team football at this stage of his career, not being a bit-part player sat on our bench.

Shows how our squad has improved that Jacobs is deemed surplus to requirements.

How long is Dawkins on loan for? the season or till Jan, don`t quite know why but feel Jacobs could be good at some point for us, so hope this is not a move on kind of loan.

Birmingham Mail says with a view to a permanent deal, but the radio has just said McLaren had told them not with a view to a permanent! Who knows!

We all know Jacobs has talent. Its how he takes it on.

It's a good move for him....He needs games to develop and for me at the moment he isn't near the 1st team at Derby.

I've always liked Jacobs and this has to be a good move for all involved.
Make or break ?
But equally I am most excited about being linked with players of the quality of Stirling
It feels like we have been in the wilderness for years.. And might be on the verge of emerging from it.

Add this to the wolves board op, we are discussing in over there and know little about the guy.

Ohhhhh Betty

I can understand the animosity though, being a fluffer club for a league one side

Don't mate, well made points both times you were ignored, especially regarding Barks

Yeah MILF. You're an unappreciated prophet of our time. That "who knows?" comment is amongst your insightfullest.

Weird, I figured being a county fan you would fully understand being ignored

Now that's funny.
