Isn't it Funny

When England look like they're pulling out of the HC, Northampton get mauled by Leinster.

A week later, and RFU/PRL are a bit more contrite and the Saints restore normality .

OK Ding, it's not level 10, like I usually watch, but COYS.

England, Australia and Wales meet in the group stages at the next World Cup, which two are going through?

Much will depend on injuries I think, Wales can compete, but any major injuries as seen against Aus when Davies and Roberts were out and our defence goes to bits. Our strength in depth is better than it has been for years but its still nowhere near that of other teams, lack of players I suppose. We are strong on the wings so I would like to see North given a few games in the centre so he is prepared just in case we need that.

Props will be an issue if injuries occur, we are pretty well stocked at second row and the back row. Not really anyone stepping up to take on MP to be honest.

Preistland needs to go away.

England OZ and Wales in the same bloody group! Christ on a bike! Group of death is well over used but on currant form of those teams this well and truly ranks as a group of death.

Anyway on currant form fort hat group i honestly couldn't say who will come out of it. Aus are coming back up as a force big time on recent evidence. Wales are back to back Six Nations champions and are sort of joint hosts (people seem to be forgetting this) And of course England look stronger all the time but have done nothing of note thus far save beating the tar out of the AB's 13 moths ago. I have to say, on form right now Wales and Australia go through but this is going to change for sure. And there is no quantifiable way to measure how England will play being that it's their tournament on their patch. Thats got to add an extra 20% to their game on sheer emotion. Maybe it will be Wales and England! Why are Australia considered guaranteed a knockout place.

I love my group!!!! but to be fair, it's the first time since the beginning for the world cup that Ireland have been in a group where they look easily like coming our of it. So i'll take it thanks very much.

Ach well, that's a competition neither of us are going to have much interest in for a good while. Mind you, you've got the Blessed Martin at the helm now, so maybe, just maybe. Don't think much of his gobshoite sidekick though.

Hi Cob

What's the situation with Priestland, for a while he was looking like a real talent but then had one bad international game and his confidence seemed to go, is it just that or is there something else?

On Keane and O'Neill, I live almost right next to Lansdowne Road, and at their first game in charge the local vendors were selling shirts with pictures of the two of them in Black and White, under O'Neill's picture was "Bad Cop" and under Keane's "Bad Bad Cop" - I was so amused I almost bought one myself.

As a Wednesday fan I find their brand of football closer to Union, so the transition between the two sports is easy, plus Gloucester ad Wednesday's innate ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

Priestland is a steady player, is ok but nothing else. Not the kind of steady eddie we like in Wales. Biggar is pretty similar too unfortunatly. A position we have always been strong in is looking a little boring at the moment if not actually weak. There are a few youngsters coming through with a bit of flair, really like Mathew Morgan, but he is tiny.

He'd have a pretty big pack in front to protect him, not to mention gigantic wingers - surely Leigh Halfpenny could do with someone else who was normal sized?
