What do the English fans make of Andy flowers apparent ultimatum to the ECB regards to - it's me or KP?
Personally, I'd stick with KP and tell flower to go. Surely, the job of the coach is to get best out of his players, rather than alienating the best English batsman. Defies logic. Otherwise, flower should try to name 5 English batsmen that are better alternatives to KP.
I wonder if stories will start emerging of the ins and outs of the England dressing room during the test series, clearly something doesn't add up.

With the exception of Pakistan (30 average) KP average 45 and above against all sides. He is still a brilliant player and will break Gooch's record and become first English to get 10k runs.
I do wonder if the SA factor always comes in when people like to diss KP. He is proud to play for England but he is also a million dollar IPL player which again leads to jealousy.

I can visualise what would have happened in the dressing room. I bet he stood up against cooks and flowers defemsive tactics, and as far the truth is concerned, Cook had a huge downfall written all over him, when he started playing, captaining and what not, so negatively. Kp is the sort of player who would love dominating teams, not like how cook was doing till now.
As far as how a big player KP is, your team lost to SA, because Kp didnt play in those matches, could have lost in India as well if he didnt play that innings in Mumbai.

Personally, I'm hoping they keep Flower as coach, Captain Comic as leader and sack KP. Ashes safe.

Afridi 14 - Yes I know KP runs get added to the total, my point was that he can only play one way and that is for KP. When the team need him to dig in and play in a less expansive way he can't do it for any length of time. I want an England TEAM and we won't get that until we say cheerio to KP.

Also hardly fair to accuse the tail of being chicken! Did you watch Anderson as nightwatchman in the last test taking all that Johnson could muster while KP & Bell hid in the pavilion?

Get rid of the lot, Stokes and Broad aside.
