I've heard a rumour Kevin Phillips is keen to sign for Town for one season. Anyone else heard that?

I watched the fight waltz. I'm glad Froch won. Seems like I'm the only one though
I've woke up with a bad head myself

I wanted Froch..... Groves looks like our neighbours 20 odd year old son.... anker !

Froch was always going to be too good. I'm still at a loss over the hype that fight drummed up to be honest. If people could have just accepted that 30 seconds more of the first fight would have resulted in the same outcome (Groves getting KO'd...massively) then this whole pantomime needn't have happened.

I've heard Ward has signed on a twelve month contract. Norwood is off, Wells, Clayton and Lynch attracting lots of attention!
Joe Murphy, new keeper, is coming in as number one. This I doubt very much!
Paterson going too!
Anyone else heard similar?

Nope. But that's why we're favourites for the drop.

All of the following was said by Dean last night at a fans forum
Danny Ward has signed for another 12 months #heavywoollen #fromdeanhimself
Hoping to sign Joe Murphy - pressure for Smithies
We've met Keith Andrews
Tavern-what's his face wanted, but Wigan offering double wages.
Hoyle - Oliver Norwood is an inconsistent player is going to have to play out of his skin to get a new contract and interest in him
Looking to extend contracts for Lynch & Clayton. Aware that other clubs are looking at Clayton
Hoyle - looking to extend Lynch contract, lots of interest in Hammil, Wells and Clayton. We are a buying and selling club
Dean Hoyle - Looking for a new keeper, centre half, right back, midfield & centre forward players.
Town have met with 20 players, 17 of which havnt been mentioned in the examiner
Lopez was never a first team signing. Patterson wants to be the star. He will be leaving. Stead has been a disappointment - Hoyle
Patterson & Stead have been a disappointment. Been told they can move on. Went on loan as thought we were safe & Vaughan wouldnt be injured
Tried to get Michael Keane on loan last season but he wanted to go elsewhere
Gobern has been told he is available for transfer if he wants to go
Gobern been made available for transfer. Scanell can also go if right offer comes in
Would like to sign Christie from Coventry but he costs too much

Grateful for any news Wakey
Agree with a lot of it, especially about Norwood. He's an archetypal Billy Big Potatoes, yet his CV reads us, Man United reserves and international giants Northern Ireland. In his own head he probably thinks he's in line to replace Xabi Alonso at Real Madrid. The guy's a clown and I'd like shot of him in all honesty. Andrews would be a decent if unspectacular replacement. He's certainly more likely to bring goals from midfield.
Clayton shouldn't be going anywhere for less than £2M. He's not worth that but if clubs are interested, let's see how interested to part with serious money they are.
We definitely need to be more proactive in the PL loan market. Loads of promising lads who won't be inline for first team football. I want to see names like Keane, Wilson, Powell and Ibe being rumored. They might not be interested but let's at least try.
