My post was tongue in cheek lads, I had read Hydy's comment a few days ago...it got me thinking, thought I'd have a laugh. Why so serious? 👍

Not serious lv

We should use this to speculate on our future crocked stars

Good idea Hydy! I've changed the title, so if anyone has any rumours or knows of a potential transfer, then post it here.

I'll ask admin to keep it pinned to the top.

Blackpool pair Craig Cathcart, the Northern Ireland centre-back, and Stephen Dobbie, the Scottish striker on loan from Crystal Palace, are among those already linked with the John Smith’s Stadium club.

Stephen Dobbie couldn't get a start with a few Scottish clubs and we know how poor the standard of football is north of the border! So, I'll pass on him.

Craig Cathcart, however, sounds like a good proposition. He's played for Man Utd, Antwerp, Plymouth, Watford, Palace and Blackpool, some good experience. So, he sounds good.

Danny Batth, why are Wolves wanting rid? It seems this lad hasn't set the football world alight.

Chris Wood, scored against Town with two different clubs, WBA and Leicester City. He has also scored goals in the Europa League, when Birmingham City were in it. So, the lad seems to be a promising talent!

As for Lee Gregory, would it be a gamble to take on another youngster from a lower division. So, not sure.

Is Mr Hoyle stepping back from his plan for a promotion push this season? It seems clear that he is wanting the fans to fund the purchases of new arrivals with season card sales. Looks like Town are desperate to flog 'em, the lower price offer has been extended. So, not enough takers then.

My suggestion is, get thi wallet art Mr Hoyle. Give something for the fans to get excited abart and gates will increase. Build it and they will come!

My impression of your chairman/owner is that you're lucky to have him. Clearly cares for the club, and I get the impression he runs it pretty tight. I don't doubt that were he able to dig into his pockets he would do so. I suspect he runs it within his means, which is no bad thing.

Expensive things these overpaid footballers .......
