Hi Guys, with the aftermath of the Belgian GP and Rosberg extending his lead in Dck Dastardly fashion the question remains, how will Hamilton claw back this significant gap this stage of the season. The mercs are the class of the field and can only see a few tracks where they may be challenged. Monza, Singapore, Suzuka and maybe Brazil.
Apart from that, I can see them winning the remaining races this season. So do you guys think Hamilton can catch and even pass Rosberg? I personally believe he can, him doing it is another thing entirely.
We have the following races left;
Monza
Singapore
Suzuka
Sochi
USA
Brazil
Abu Dhabi (double points)
Barring any incident, I can see both mercs finishing 1-2 in all those races apart from Singapore and Monza, so the double points race may end up being critical. To make things fair, Nico needs at least 2 DNFs .
On a serious note, I do not see any more DNFs from Mercedes and would prefer we didn’t see any.
So, a few questions;
1) Do you think Hamilton can catch Rosberg before Abu Dhabi?
2) If you do, when do you believe he will catch him?
3) Who do you think will be the world champion?
Ideally I would say I was 100% confident Hamilton would catch him by Brazil but that race generally never goes well for Hamilton and Suzuka is another track I do not believe he has won at.
So ladies and gentlepeoples, your views please.
I have posted this article to have some good debate and would appreciate if we did, I would prefer not to delete comments or filter users. Many thanks
Can he do it?

Go-Cellino-Go, you mention Schumacher almost putting Massa into the pit wall, not being rude, but which race was this? I can't recall it, are you confusing this with Barrichello at Hungary 2010?

No he can not. All Nico's now I feel, unless the team interferes.
Points disadvantage
power unit parts disadvantage
luck disadvantage
No going to happen.

Rosberg has pretty much been given free reign to do whatever the hell he's wanted to do.
So many incidents with him, yet he hasn't even had one drive through.

So if he uses a 6th power unit, he gets a 10 place grid penalty. Hmmm.
Congratulations, Nico Rosberg, world champion
