Afternoon all,
This is only the second article i've done on here so bear with me......it's in defence of McCoist as a Rangers Legend.
We all know of the latest news on his resignation saga and on and so forth but we must as supporters get away from the hatred that is being vented toward him. The man is like most of us on here, a true blue. I've looked on here for the past while and even though I was in agreement of getting rid of McCoist (I got rid of my season ticket after promotion from Div.3 as I just couldn't stand to watch it anymore) I still think that some of the hatred should be toned down.
Now this does not mean that as a manager he was and I think will always be inept, you just need to look at my only other article on here when we were still in the SPL, yes he threw away a great chance to show he was a decent manager in his own right. He rallied round with guys he thought would be good for the club, Durrant, McDowell, etc. but the old pals act, including first team choices has failed.
But to call him a spiv like the rest of them is too harsh, yes he has taken a load of money out of Rangers as a salary but there's not one of us on here that would turn down the money on offer for less, not one! Just look at what the job has done to him anyway , he looks like an old man these days...
All in all i'm not defending the manager of our club as he has no defence there, i'm defending the man, the legend who is Super Ally, that should never be forgotten!

21M in wages the board have thrown at him to produce the sheite he has over the last 3 seasons
He's the worst and yet outrageously, the most highly paid manager in Scottish football.

I reckon Ally never did buy into the 'same club' myth, he's not completely stupid. That's why he's not worried about shafting them.

Face facts lads.
We don't have all the facts.
What puzzles me is why he is holding on.
He's already a multi millionaire thanks to Rangers fans.
His inevitable Book will prob bring him even more.
I know I'm a Timmite and don't get a vote.
But I think he's not even in your top 5 of Spivs.
