No strikers on the bench?

posted on 17/10/15

Great keepers have clean sheets..... Even if the defense is bad.How many games have you seen the keeper had the best game of his life and kept a team in it?

Or here is another question.... When do you last say that about Kasper TB?

We don't need a new keeper - just get Ben back!

Kante certainly improved in the second half but I'm concerned about Inler. He's costing the club a small fortune and he can't have been brought in for back up. Maybe he just doesn't have it anymore, he was brilliant at Napoli

Or maybe he's just being kept out of the team by Drinky because we want Kante playing for his legs not Drinky and Inler, that won't work.

Ulloa had a knock, But Kramaric who knows. Maybe he on his way out of the club.?

Agreed drinky and Inler are too similar, it's either one or the other. It's a very expensive back up player though

Yep but credit to Drinky for stepping up. I watched the MOTD highlights of the Villa game the other day and both Allardyce and Murphy said "he's the complete miodfielder".

Inler not getting into the team is purely down to how brilliant Drinky has been. He's clearly benefitted from Cambiasso, great to see.

I said at the start of last season that he's quality and will step up and for a long time there it looked like I was wrong but this season he's back to his best and he's a lot more physically imposing now. He's obviously worked really hard in the gym and it's paying for him.

I hope he continues to keep Inler out the team and then maybe we'll see him in an England shirt one day with Albrighton and Vardy 😂

I think that was CR's way of letting Krammy know whos the boss. If he was on the bench everyone else not playing would be in the press.
