The most annoying thing was the fact he wasn't hooked at 1-0 when he was offering nothing and some injection of pace was needed to really worry Russia.

Around 70 mins I would have brought on Vardy for Sterling and Rashford for Kane.

Guarantee we would have got a second goal if we didn't sit on our lead.

Russia were relying on Dyzuba hold up play and were not really offering anything in an attacking sense even at 1-0, should've gone for the jugular.

Kane had a very quiet game tonight, but HTF could you consider leaving out the topgoalscorermin in the Prem this season because he was not at the top of his form for one game. Kane will end up as England top goalscorer, and would to be surprised if he doesn't win the golden boot. Only an idiot would consider dropping him.

Kane is head and shoulders above Vardy, one off poor game don't mean you sub him. Vardy is pretty one dimensional, but his pace could have helped in the last 15 minutes agreed. But There is not a chance in hell that Kane will be left out to accommodate Vardy.

Is there any youtube of Hodgson defending his decision to get Kane taking the corners. I've been supportive of the guy until now but anyone who sees sense in asking our top striker and header of the ball to take corners has lost the effin' plot. 40% chance that we'll get through to the next round.
