Saturday's visit to PNE is Mark Warburton's first opportunity to demonstrate his managerial pedigree. Will the team produce on the pitch? After two weeks off, one or two of our first choice centre halves should be fit to start. The defence may well be the biggest team selection decision.
Simon Grayson is looking to push on toward that last playoff spot and won't want to see the sheep overtake them. PNE sit in 9th spot with 8 games left and have no easy games coming up. They have amassed 14 points from their last 10 games against Forest's 11. The big difference? they have only lost twice.
In their last game away to Blackburn they snatched a 2-2 draw when Aiden McGready scored in 93rd minute.
Last two home games have both been won; Reading and QPR were dispatched 3-0 and 2-1 respectively. Although they slipped up to Fulham in between.
North End have a full squad to choose from after Aiden McGready, Andy Boyle and Daryl Horgan all returned fit from International Duty with ROI.
Their main strike threat comes from Jordan Hugill 11 goals from 37 appearances, Calum Robertson 8 goals from 37 and Simon Makienak with 6 goals from 23, plus 17 as a sub'.
Now is the time for Forest to build a point's cushion with Preston and Wolves away, followed by Huddersfield and Blackburn at the City Ground.
Our season could be settled, either way, in two weeks time.
[ I won't be around all day Sat' as the NEC calls so play nicely]

Two point gap is better than one. That's all I can say looking at the table. Just got to worry about those below Forest. Wolves is going to be to be incredibly tough but will they get a little complacent after a five game winning streak?...

You were right all along, we've fallen foul of FFP. Or maybe not!
Unbelievable and enviable stats would you agree?

Let's not take the bad mood out on the work colleagues.
As for the rest all on English time I believe.
Or are you the official spokesman and need a prompt, appears so

Official spokesperson thank you Igor. I'm sure there are at least one or two of us that not only frequent both boards on here, but bathe in an oasis of gender freedom.
I'm not bothered about working, I quite enjoy it to be honest. No bad mood on the sunny-side here, I was more than happy with a point and I'm looking forward to the weekend TV feast vs Huddersfield at midnight on Saturday.
Congratulations on avoiding FFP by the way. It's a shame that your successes off the pitch cannot be rewarded on it. The following made me laugh though...seems your accountant is a genius as well as a comedian :

I'd love an explanation on that one!

Talking of empty, shallow, pointless victories I see Celtic's league win was confirmed yesterday 🤔
