Im not one who normally praises Everton but the way they have went about their transfers has been phenomenal. Less than a week after the transfer window officially opened Everton had already signed Pickford, Keane, Klassen, Sandro Ramirez and Rooney. They spent the Lukaku money efficiently and got in the necessary replacements with about 5 and a half weeks before the season starts.Doubt they have much planned apart from apart from a potential swap deal involving Barkley and Sigurdsson.
This could not be anymore different to how Liverpool and Spurs went about their transfers when they sold Suarez and Bale.

Both Liverpool were not able to improve on their previous seasons both finishing 6th of Summer.
Looking back on it, it may not have been down to the quality of the players, but the amount of time all these new players had to work with each other before the season starts. Everton have not made that mistake and these new players will be able to work together on a daily basis and pre season, getting to know each others strenghts/weaknesses. The manager will be able to try various formations/players in various pre-season friendlies to find his best XI and get them ready for the start of the season. They have given themselves a fighting chance to improve on the last season unlike ourselves and Liverpool and clearly overall they have a far stronger 1st XI than last. Everton have sold Dr dre and signed the blazin squad.
