I'd rather wait a bit longer and get better players. How many of Pickford, Keane, Klassen, Sandro Ramirez and Rooney would get into the starting 11 at EITHER Spurs or Liverpool? For me - none of them.
everton have just lost over 33% of the teams goals from last season, they've replaced that with a spanish lad who scored less goals in la liga last season than Iago aspas and a fat, bald, grannie shaagger who was washed up in a better side.

Koeman is yet to replace Lukaku properly.
After being asked about any business after the Sigurdsson bid he said
"We lost Funes Mori with a knee injury and we're looking to replace him. We know we lost Romelu Lukaku. We bought Sandro Ramirez and we try to get another striker in, and maybe one more."
Not sure if he he meant Sigurdsson, a CB, a striker and one more or if Sigurdsson is the one more.
The squad is definitely going to be better, but one could argue the same could have been said about Spurs post Bale and that took a while to come to fruition.

Agree but the squad improved over that time period, even if it wasn't really down to the players bought using that money.
They are currently worse off than last season though I'd say.
Everton have sold Dr dre and signed the blazin squad.
Not impressed with hardly any of those signings and the one I am the spent far to much on him ( Pickford )
Everton have lost their best player and have signed players that aren't gonna concern the top 6.
Pickford and Keane are decent PL players but I doubt any of the top 6 were interested in those players. Not as first team regulars.
People have forgotten how poor Rooney has been for the last few years.
Klaasen could be good but players from Holland are hit and miss. Ramirez may be a talent.
Still can't Everton breaking into the top 6.

Both Liverpool were not able to improve on their previous seasons both finishing 6th of Summer.

and everton are not going to improve their position of 7th from last year so.................nothing to see here
Gueye is truly amazing. As a Chelsea fan u would of taken him over Bokoyoko for the amount of money wr paid for him.

He's a good player. Truly amazing is just slightly overboard.
I see Koeman has reiterated that Barkleys future lies elsewhere in a desperate attempt to drum up a bit of interest. Even in todays ridiculous market a player who has 1 year of his contract left and has been openly criticised by the manager is worth very little (comparatively speaking).
Everton have more of a chance of finishing in the bottom half than finishing in the top 6. They've signed a load of average players
Huge ask for Everton to finish in the top 6 let alone top 4
Everton should be able to challenge for the league and Fa Cup if they take it seriously

Good attempt at a wum this article. Needs improvement though.
I would recommend you speak with GB. He will show you how it is done
Funny how people go on about Everton losing lukaku and 33% of their goals. If Lukaku had scored 0 Everton would still have finished seventh.
Rather than just one player getting the goals they will be evenly spread round.
As for no Everton players getting in the Liverpool squad... Pickford and Keane would stroll into it.
