I wrote an article last week about the Invictus Games.
I'm a huge supporter of the games and what they bring to all competitors and their families. A good friend of mine has won a few medals this week and I couldn't be prouder.
However winners, medals, records mean nothing when you look at the true spirit of the games

I agree they have a hard job actually Miller. Always think they get a hard time over really marginal calls. It's the really obvious calls that they get wrong that bother me.

I think they're in general useless and clueless. But I think that it's not premeditated in any way. They're just shiite.

BTW I've been at games and maintained that the ref couldn't be more wrong. Saw another angle and thought there's no way it's the same incident I'm watching again.

I tend to agree that with most of them it's just incompetence, and also agree that there's been times that I've felt the ref got it wrong but when you see it on a reply he's been correct.
But there's times when it's been right in front of them and they get it wrong and you just think, how?!?

Definitely. I think that the refs are just as bad as our players produced. In general we have average to below average footballers and average to below average referees

Its a great career for a young man imo. A youngster like CS in his 20s could make a very decent living out of it.
As most people know my first love is Gaelic Games and every game the ref is an absolute cvnt. Main reason being the tackle is actually not defined so its the refs discretion. At the final a fortnight ago I was fooking raging with the ref. Watched it back a few days later and he had a very good game!

He seen the Warrior Games that the US do and took it from there
