Yet they are 4 points clear at the top of their league. Unbeaten in the CL and you said EASILY better...Just saying

They are. Madrid having Ronaldo missing for 4 games hasn't helped them but I wouldn't be shocked to see them recover and win it. They are better all over the pitch.

PSG took Barca apart last year and were a bit naive and not helped but some questionable officiating. PSG have gone up a few levels since and would tear that Barca team to shreds.

Juve comfortably saw off Messi and co too. Let's not forget that. A Juventus team who Madrid battered.

Let's see what kind of shape these teams are in come February. They won't be meeting each other until then, so it's all a bit premature to say where they are.

Don't forget either that Barça are under a new manager, and that ought to make a difference - more so once the players have had a few months to get to grips with the new approach. Valverde might not be well known in the UK, but he's highly regarded in Spain and this was in fact the third time Barça had tried to sign him.

Whatever happened last year is water under the bridge, and it's hardly as if Barça have that much ground to make up anyway.

It isn't a return to form because apart from City and if they grow some balls Spurs none of us have a cat in hells chance of doing anything.

You couldn't string two passes together at Anfield and i can't imagine you faring much better vs Paris, Barca, City, even Spurs, Napoli.

The best bet for either of us having a deep run is by pulling eachother in the quarters then the winner Atletico in the semi (the one big team who won't press us to death), then hope for the rub of the green in the final.

They will still all be out in the QF stage at the latest anyway. None of them are good enough to win it.

The way Jose set's up his big game's at United and Chelsea is an indicator on what will likely happen in terms of the pattern of the game.

Although having said that one advantage you have compared to us is Jose somehow often seems to somehow avoid defeat no matter how badly his team play's. Liverpool 2015 league cup semi and the last 16 vs Paris a month later the two big example's to that, both team's made us look like amateur's over 2 leg's but somehow we got through in one and only lost the other on away goals.

I think Koeman will be sacked very soon. I won't be suprised if he is sacked today.
