I’m backing him 100% reguardless of recent disappointments...
I think he has badly judged his own ability to coach the defence to an extent that he could improve what we have to a competitive level however he is still a top class manager..
He has a far better pulling power for top class players than we have been used to in the last few years going all the way back to Rafa..
I don’t think he quite grasps the fact that in English football your really need a solid defensive midfielder to protect the defence due to the fast pace of the game in England..
I’m sure he now realises he has misjudged things and will sort it out, by god we could really really do with Lucas right now to solidify our midfield and stop this chaotic defending..
He also needs to learn wing backs bombing forward recklessly is exposing our defence far to much the quality in the league is far greater than what he was used to in Germany..
If we did sack him I don’t feel we could get a replacement anywhere near his calibare.. So I am prepared to be patient take the current situation we are in as a learning curve and back him to get it right..
CL qualification and a European final in his first 2 years is still very impressive let’s just hope we can stay in touch with the top four come January and let him get the right players to finally sort this defensive shambles out...

I want to pose a genuine question. Is it the players?
Now I believe our players like martial and mikhi are currently chit due to mourinho. Just to show it isn't a dig at your club
Having watched the game and subsequent highlights I think the first goal was a bit harsh to blame lovren. Yes the ball went over his head etc but Kane would have been offside if the defensive line had moved with lovren. It was laziness by the fella on the other side that let Kane in
Similarly mig is not a bad keeper IMHO. Problem is he has no trust in those in front of him. Your goals conceded from set pieces is poor iirc So is it any wonder mig runs out and flaps?
Like I say not causing trouble here, I just think we are too quick to blame individuals without looking at the bigger picture. With us Jose apparently doesn't coach attacking play and it shows. Klopp doesn't seem to worry about defensive play and it shows. For me managers need looking at tbh

Because he doesn’t spend like Utd, City and Chelsea so the fans don’t expect to win the league every year.
He is also on a 5 year plan and and in to a depressed poor squad.

The players absolutely have something to do with it.
Migs is poor. The back four are poor.
However that’s also on Klopp a bit, he hasn’t prioritised the defence much and yes he tried to sign VVD but he’s been here two years and apart from Matip, whom I’m still not completely convinced by, were still playing with the same back four we did with Rodgers.

Mourinho won 2 in 11 in the pl between October and December last year. Should he have been under pressure?

I am convinced about Matip. I have never seen him been outpaced by an opponent. For me the quality of a defender is does he come top when he is isolated in 1v1. He does that unlike Lovren.
Regarding Klopp he has my support. The mancs are desperate for us to sack him.

he needs to change formation and get bodies closer to each other and more supportive so the panic is lessened.
