No, we saw a small team mentality at Anfield when United turned up.
Well the fact he bought a LB, went after a CB, already signed a CB in Matip and wants a MF enforcer kinda indicates he knows defence is sht.
I would expect the next two yrs mignolet and lovren will be gone.
You could do a lot lot worse than Klopp.
Imo it's more than worth giving him more time.

I'd be hoping for two months rather than two years if I were a Liverpool fan.
But I agree with the OP, he's having a sticky patch but not the sort that should cost a good manager his job. Two finals and back in the CL in his first two seasons shows he's done some things right and made progress. Plus there's nobody around with close to his pedigree/pulling power you could realistically get, with the exception of Ancelotti.
Would anyone say Klopp's job hinges on CL qualification this season?

Having watched the game and subsequent highlights I think the first goal was a bit harsh to blame lovren. Yes the ball went over his head etc but Kane would have been offside if the defensive line had moved with lovren. It was laziness by the fella on the other side that let Kane in
Similarly mig is not a bad keeper IMHO. Problem is he has no trust in those in front of him. Your goals conceded from set pieces is poor iirc So is it any wonder mig runs out and flaps?
Like I say not causing trouble here, I just think we are too quick to blame individuals without looking at the bigger picture. With us Jose apparently doesn't coach attacking play and it shows. Klopp doesn't seem to worry about defensive play and it shows. For me managers need looking at tbh

Because he doesn’t spend like Utd, City and Chelsea so the fans don’t expect to win the league every year.
He is also on a 5 year plan and and in to a depressed poor squad.
I find it so funny you mancs get so wound up by our club

The players absolutely have something to do with it.
Migs is poor. The back four are poor.
However that’s also on Klopp a bit, he hasn’t prioritised the defence much and yes he tried to sign VVD but he’s been here two years and apart from Matip, whom I’m still not completely convinced by, were still playing with the same back four we did with Rodgers.

Mourinho won 2 in 11 in the pl between October and December last year. Should he have been under pressure?
I am convinced about Matip. I have never seen him been outpaced by an opponent. For me the quality of a defender is does he come top when he is isolated in 1v1. He does that unlike Lovren.
Regarding Klopp he has my support. The mancs are desperate for us to sack him.
he needs to change formation and get bodies closer to each other and more supportive so the panic is lessened.
