Grabban

Not sure how much he is on, but Bournemouth have said he is able to leave if a deal can be found (currently on loan with Sunderland).

IMO THIS is the striker we need.

Send back Lasagne.

Is he worth it?

A striker who has a goals scored to games played ratio of more than 1 every 2 games - what do you think?

People are being way too harsh on Lasogga, he has scored 5 in 9 games and looked like an absolute animal on his debut yet people act like he is teeeible

Matty I think it is his attitude / the way he is, he is like an old school forward. The modern day striker needs to do more but if he continues to bang them in then great

Lasogga is a good player and a goal scorer.

The comments on the official photo of him been back in training are pathetic and more proof a large percentage of our fan base are idiots.

He works nowhere near hard enough. Sure people say he can stick then in, fine.

However when Ekuban works the defenders it leaves more space for the three in behind to work / create. Lasogga for a big man a) can't seem to hold it up b) won't even effin jump for a ball ducking out of aerial challenges left right and centre.

So I ask myself, do I play a striker who has scored none but works hard for the team (Lasogga would have never chased down the ball that resulted in us scoring from a corner a few games ago).

Or...do we play a striker that yes can finish but increases the workload on the other outfield players and invites pressure onto us.

It's a no brainer for me.

Unless he comes back into the side transformed he may as well head home.

need to work out if we were playing terribly because of lasogga not doing much, or because we just hit a massive downer and everyone was useless for a period.

Is he worth having in the squad? Yes, especially with Ekuban injured. But don't want him starting as our main striker, his lack of mobility and movement was killing us. And I don't just mean running around like a donkey. The team weren't playing to his strengths but he wasn't providing at outlet at all. A big slow striker who can't win a header is a passenger. Roofe and Ekuban can run the channels or go over the top to provide an outlet, with Lassoga it cones straight back at the defence.

Lasogga scored some cracking goals including one header. Having just moved to Leeds and his wife having a baby he has had a lot on his plate.

There's a good player in there, good management/coaching will unlock it - at Leeds or elsewhere.
