National Holiday

As we all know our country isn't the best in the world at giving Bank Holidays, however if England were to win the World Cup would we be awarded a national bank holiday? (in the hypothetical sense)

Whilst watching this World Cup I've heard that other countries have done similar things for their own respective footballing achievements, but would ours do the same?

I travel a lot. I have been to Gambia and Budapest this year, and plan on going to Morocco, Cuba and Brazil in December. I left my last job because of travelling.

So why so miserable then ? my point is, not all of us work just to pay bills and have miserable lives.

Did I say I am miserable? In London, which is where i live, most people complain that all they do is work and pay bills. I was also in this circle, until I started to travel.

Yeh that's people that are never content and do nothing with their lives. I travel to with my partner. I currently don't have any kids and love the freedom. Just recently got back from 3 week trip to Asia

Do you do it full time? I know it is a big thing now with Instagram bloggers.

No not full time mate. Me and my partner both work full time and own our own home so we got responsibilities, but we live for our travels. We love travelling to different countries and seeing different cultures. Gives you such a fantastic knowledge of life in general when you travel and see such amazing countries.

Public holidays mean diddly squat to me, but I fully appreciate the need why there is as real need for more of them.

The Anglo-Saxon culture has created an awful relationship between the proles and their masters. Probably the worst in the 'developed' world.

Personally got out in 1993, sold up, downsized (before it was fashionable). Become mortgage & responsibility free and as art, music and meeting the human multitude is alI I love, that's what I do.

Done my bit. Life is for living. 'uck slavery.

We should have a day called Independence Day on either the 29th March or 23rd June
