For a game that didn’t have too much resting on it. They started pretty well with a good front press, but in the end were all Hoff and puff.
Sane and Sterling both looking good, with lots of joy frequently against their unorganised defence.
Solid 90mins for Foden. Got involved with some more direct football rather than just spreading it about, and really unlucky with that peach volley.
Delph and Walker playing like they’d been on the mince pies and Gluhwein while they were sat on the bench. And City in general missing more one on ones since the front line was led by Nicholas Anelka.
As for Ederson, first time I’ve seen him have to do so much goalkeeping, almost forgot that was his role 😂

Ajax - Bayern was a better match. Also nothing at stake except 1st and 2nd place, but both went for it and there was plenty of goals and drama. Not to mention Muller showing how he is a shaolin master when he doesn't play footy.

Missed some crazy opportunities but no harm done. Now have a 1 in 4 chance of drawing Atletico who will park the bus more effectively than Hoff. Some really weird results in the last games, Real losing 0-3 shows what a strange competition it is but City have to have a great chance this year when they get the first teamers back but I thought Foden played really well. The future creative midfielder England so badly need.

Yeah he’s quality, amazing feet, we have real fire power but I will feel much better when silva Aguero and kdb are back
