Stones looked like the schoolkid who was told he was doing ballet instead of 5-a-side just before a sports lesson.
Weird but watchable match like you said, made it more interesting when Hoff decided to throw caution to the wind and go for the victory.
Ajax - Bayern was a better match. Also nothing at stake except 1st and 2nd place, but both went for it and there was plenty of goals and drama. Not to mention Muller showing how he is a shaolin master when he doesn't play footy.
Probably was but I chose to go to the Etihad.
Missed some crazy opportunities but no harm done. Now have a 1 in 4 chance of drawing Atletico who will park the bus more effectively than Hoff. Some really weird results in the last games, Real losing 0-3 shows what a strange competition it is but City have to have a great chance this year when they get the first teamers back but I thought Foden played really well. The future creative midfielder England so badly need.
Great to see Foden getting a start and he didn’t look out of place, he’s going to be a quality player.
