Despite our inconsistency this season I think it’s clear the squad we have at the moment is significantly better than any recent seasons.

Looking over the piece SG has done very well. Europe was a big success - way beyond expectations- and we are neck and neck with Celtic in the league. To expect any more than that would be ott.

From a purely points total point of view Celtic clearly have not performed anywhere near previous seasons. Scott Brown has a bad day at the office yesterday and whether that was a one off or a bit of a watershed moment for him remains to be seen.

For both clubs the jan transfer window is critical. Gers need 3 players IMO.

I don’t know enough about Celtics squad but I would expect significant investment because no matter what Celtic think of us - we are there or there about right now and anything could happen.

Well this break thing is most welcome
Never thought it a good idea but December has been nuts 8 games I think
35 played this season already ffs

It’s positive to have the break while the league is still so open as it will be eagerly anticipated on return

Yesterday was massive for Rangers but it also keeps the interest in the league high

So enjoy the break and look forward to what should be an exciting run in next year
