A completely deserved victory for the gers.

However, it's not all gloom - we kept the score to a one goal difference, we remain top of the League, (with a game in hand, and we head for the winter break, where we will refresh the team and the players get a well-deserved rest.
Bring on 2019.

There has definitely been some sort of shift if you are looking at just a one goal defeat as a positive against us.
We played better than we have been. Having a couple of bodies back really helped us.
When I saw the team I was a bit more positive. That’s not far off our first choice line up.
"There has definitely been some sort of shift" - course there has. You guys won today and you deserved to win - and that hasn't happened since, well since TMQ was a youngster, so obviously a shift.
The break might just be arriving at a bad time for Rangers - but definitely a good time for Celtic.
The break is coming at the perfect time for Rangers cos we had several players having injections to be able to play plus loads of injuries.

You knew as soon as the team was put out. That was our weakest team all year.
Should have started ralston and tierney and eduoard. Move macgregor to midfield and drop brown.
Break probably coming at a good time for both teams. Both will be feeling they can give the players a rest, get over the little injuries, and win the second half of the season. Interesting to see which team hits form, and whether a run in Europe affects Celtic.

Despite our inconsistency this season I think it’s clear the squad we have at the moment is significantly better than any recent seasons.
Looking over the piece SG has done very well. Europe was a big success - way beyond expectations- and we are neck and neck with Celtic in the league. To expect any more than that would be ott.
From a purely points total point of view Celtic clearly have not performed anywhere near previous seasons. Scott Brown has a bad day at the office yesterday and whether that was a one off or a bit of a watershed moment for him remains to be seen.
For both clubs the jan transfer window is critical. Gers need 3 players IMO.
I don’t know enough about Celtics squad but I would expect significant investment because no matter what Celtic think of us - we are there or there about right now and anything could happen.
Well this break thing is most welcome
Never thought it a good idea but December has been nuts 8 games I think
35 played this season already ffs
It’s positive to have the break while the league is still so open as it will be eagerly anticipated on return
Yesterday was massive for Rangers but it also keeps the interest in the league high
So enjoy the break and look forward to what should be an exciting run in next year
