On Tuesday Wolves host Shrewsbury Town for the FA Cup 4th round replay.
The first time round the game finished 2-2 after an injury time goal from Matt Doherty rescued Wolves from an ignominious defeat by the League 1 side.
In this game Nuno Espirito Santo can have no excuses for anything less than a comfortable win. With a 6-day gap before Wolves’ next league game, there is no reason for Nuno to field a weakened side. With a fifth round tie against Bristol City as an added incentive, Nuno must surely go with his regular starting 11 and aim for dominating possession, early goals and a clean sheet.
In the previous tie there was mention made of the poor playing surface at New Meadow but again, there will be no such problem at Molineux and with the home crowd behind them, Wolves need to treat their visitors with the same respect that they afforded to Liverpool in the third round and then ensure the same outcome.

Shrews midfielder Dave Edwards ruled himself out of the previous tie due to a niggling injury however he can expect a warm reception from the home crowd should he be fit for this game.
Another ex-Wolves player who may make an appearance is Scott Golbourne who signed for The Shrews on Jan 30th.

Wolves have the boost of centre back Willy Boly being available after missing the previous tie due to suspension.
Midfield maestro, Ruben Neves is a doubt after coming off with an ankle injury during the game against Everton on Saturday.

Gem’s prediction: 3-0

I think its well known that Wolves fans celebrate mediocrity hence so many were confused when Nuno first turned up and culled the crap, wee Tim Spiers was ever so spiteful when the cosy club was broken up.

As for George, did he apologise for his actions at not meeting club standards in the end then?

I see Tyrone Mings tried ending a career at the weekend then, stamping on somebody yet again, jeez the fella has had some poor guidance in recent years it seems

Last I saw shrews had only shifted 1600, so 2500 is good, should make for a good atmosphere. At least they'll all be clogging up the M54 with their tractors, not the M6 as well.

What was big George's indiscretion at Orient? Anyone know? He always comes across as a thoroughly decent chap and not one to let himself or his club down.
