I’ll make this brief.
Pochettino: very sadly, his time is up. Saturday was the bitter end, and I can’t tell you how much it pains me to say that. Not that I don’t love him like a bro from another mo coz I do, and I don’t believe he’s become a bad coach - I feel club politics have undone him. Fans like Weare and Sandy slating him as if he’s never been any good are an utter embarrassment - but these guys know fack all about football, or the complexities of THFC in the 21st Century. But sometimes you have to concede when the end is the end. He looks beleaguered, miserable, in need of a new challenge. The players have given up for him. He will go somewhere else and do very well, mark my words. A very sad day indeed that it’s come to this. I will write in more detail about this when the inevitable happens.
Hugo Lloris: Get out. Captain Calamity. We need a new keeper ASAP. Gazza is good back up but no No1. Hugo is done as a top level keeper, a facking liability.
Danny Rose: had a face like a smacked arrsehole for 2 years, never been the same since his Jan 17 knee injury. Good player for us but he can piiiiissss off back to Leeds or Donny or wherever it is that he thinks will make him happy.
Toby A: needs a new contract, not gonna happen.
Jan V: ditto Toby, but playing like a facking melon this season. Could be done at top level, maybe time to head back to Holland - shame as he’s been here since 2012 and has been one of the leagues best CBs in that time, deserves a testimonial.
Aurier: GET OUT YOU FACKINGCUNT.
Dier: Sell him. Useless.
Wanyama: Busted flush, flog him.
Eriksen: Technically brilliant player with amazing PL consistency. Big game bottler. Performances in 2019 have gone from average to disgraceful. Wants out, should’ve been sold in the summer, as I said at the time a huge fack up by the club. No way back for him now, or us. If we can get a tenner and a pickled egg in January we should sell as that’s 100% more than we’ll get in June. I genuinely cannot stand to look at CE now as he annoys me that much, he’s a disloyal coward. Get out.
Gazza, Foyth, Davies, Sanchez, Ndombele, Winks, Lo Celso, Sessegnon, Son, Moura, Kane, Dele.
These are the core now. We need to rebuild around these players. Is that a CL level group? No, it’s not. Fans slating Poch now are in for a rude awakening when we are slumming it in Minsk on a cold Thursday night again, so they’d better brace themselves.
Finally ENIC. Daniel Levy as a businessman is a superb CEO. They have provided the infrastructure for the club to build on, but at the detriment of the playing side. Pochettino spent £29m net on players in 5 seasons. What he was given this summer was far too little, far too late (for a club with designs on competing at the top).
One League Cup win in almost 20 years of ownership. The common denominator in our lack of success isn’t the players, it isn’t the manger - many have come, many have failed. It’s the owners. The model under which THFC operates is NOT compatible with success. Poch made that model work better than anyone before him, but it still wasn’t enough, and it never will be. Some players need to go. Poch’s job is untenable. But, ultimately, we will never be a successful club under ENICs rule. After 2 decades we’d be blind not to realise that. A change of ownership at THFC has to happen for us to have a chance of achieving success - if the demise of the Poch era doesn’t make us realise that, then nothing ever will.
Ok not brief. But from the heart. Gutted.
I Can Feel the End....
I’ll make this brief.
