Martial is still living off his debut goal.

Yeh, I am sure the other 59 goals haven't meant anything.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well to be honest they haven't meant much and you missed the point i made.

He's a hype machine, over-rated by many because of the way he burst onto the scene v Liverpool. It's hardly a stretch to say he's not become the player he promised to become at the start.

I'm surprised his reputation is as good as it is because he's still not nailed down a position and he's not exactly a lethal goal scorer. Mentality issues are obvious with him.

‘I’ve often wondered who would take him if we sold him this summer?

Surely no bigger a club than a Sevilla or an Inter.

Apparently he’s Joel Glazers favourite player and under no circumstances will he be sold. Cheers Joel 🙄

I don't think he's a bad player, i think he's got bags of talent but not got the head on his shoulders he needs to make the most of it.

A moody maverick rather than someone properly top class. I still think you would get a decent amount for him and he would get a decent if not quite top level club.

Not sure the relevance to you two sharing similarities as posters.

There isn't, it's just me letting you know what a cringe you are

The amount you both consistently talk absolute crap would suggest otherwise.

Dortmund with Haaland whilst we get Sancho?

There would be a few clubs that would take a gamble on him in the hope he can excel away from United. Many players have in the last few years.

He'll be used as a super sub initially, a la Ole himself. One of the issues we have is that our players on the bench are too similar in style, albeit some times vastly different in abilities, than those starting games. Ighalo will be able to come in games like the Wolves one and give us a different approach.

He has a few strengths that will come in handy - and I reckon he will not miss the sitters that we seem all too often to miss. Has a physical presence like Rom did, but he's much softer feet and can hold up a fackin football. The fact that he's going to be living a dream playing for our club isn't to be mocked - Olle will get a striker "willing to break his nose to play for us" and score a few timely goals. This signing might be much better than the naysayers think. I was reserved about signing him, but I have a ray of hope in Odion's time with us.

This signing was just weird. If it happened on FIFA/FM during beta testing you'd report it as a bug

Absolute confirmation that selling Lukaku without a plan was a dumb idea.
