New stadium?

The last thread has given me an idea. Clearly the club are looking to capitalise on our recent success by enlarging our stadium. Why not go the whole hog and relocate to take advantage of a bigger catchment area? To avoid any potential conflict of interest in trying to acquire what would otherwise be potential Forest or Derby fans, and to retain the Leicester connection, they could build a 63,000 seater stadium on stilts above the confluence of the Trent and the Soar ie to be equally above Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Excellent transport links by road, rail and air are available nearby to maximise the potential catchment area for this stunning new venture.

Obviously the move out of Leicester would need a change in name from Leicester City, but we could temporarily justify that and retain our present league status by calling ourselves the East Midlands Foxes whilst we get established in our new home.

I wouldn't make the mistake that MKD have though in trying to hang on to an increasingly irrelevant past in keeping the 'Dons' part of their name, after a few years at Trent Junction we could tweak the name to say East Midlands United to signify the coming together of the three cities. This would give the added advantage of being able to be called the Emus.

Sounds like a great plan to me, how about it Top?

Now we could start a debate as to whether Florida Fox or Nuneaton_fox has the better location choice, but I don't want to start an argument which already has a clear answer!

(In case anybody is wondering I have access to the Lord Hop which has 4 guest beers. And before anybody starts on the weather I don't appreciate having to regularly slip, slap, slop, seek, slide, something that is rarely an issue in North Warwickshire).

Nuneaton?

Less tropical storms?
Less chance of getting eaten by an Alligator?

Joby, not to mention pigmy and diamond back rattle snakes. Coral and cottonmouth too! Black and brown widow spiders... And New Symrna Beach beach being the shark attack capitol of the World!

Also do not forget the climate....... It is either hot, f-ing hot or just walk outside and sweat your ass off. When you go to the store here you will park up to 1/4 of a mile away from the store for a shady tree spot.

Sod this place..... I am moving to Nuneaton!

Do you get the odd hurricane or tornado?

As much as I love tales of Florida, I really can’t wait for the game Friday so we can talk about football again.

No offence to your snakes and spiders of course...

Yes, that should definitely benefit us Florida. Hopefully we can take the game to Man City a bit more than we did last time.

What is certain is we need to push them back to stop them exploiting our full backs and between the lines, or we set up more solid with a back 5 and play more on the break.

5-4-1 could be a decent counter attacking formation and will stop Chilwell having his pants pulled down again.

I hope we are in the market for a LB in the summer. I know Justin can switch but I thinks Fuchs is gone this summer. So we have no natural back up or replacement if, god forbid some idiot team ( Man U) buy him!.

I this this Friday will be more of a test for him from Torae. He knows what Mahrez always wants to do?
