It’s a no brainier given that the club has won so many united fans back. It’s happening all over the country - Ole and Ed are spearheading a revolution of flaky united fans going back to support their local clubs

They’re everywhere mate - flaky plastic united fans have infected every part of our great country like the Coronavirus. Fortunately Ed has the vaccine

Not really but I think Nuneaton means that we would be able to take advantage of being closer to an airport. I bet that would mean thousands of extra fans who would fly in for games.
I’m not really sure about the change of names and how it would go down...To be honest though, I’ve only really followed Leicester for about 5 years since they got into the PL so probably not best placed to speak on behalf of the fans.
However, In terms of taking advantage of international transport it may be worth thinking of a more global name. I have a friend in New York who works for a big firm, and he said if we want to really hit the market stateside we need to think about a more Americanised name. He said things like Leicester Heat or Leicester Blue Sox, etc. Both of those sound quite snazzy to me. He supports Man U at the moment because of their owners but said he would consider supporting Leicester instead if we came up with a better name. May cause a bit of a fuss with the fans at first, but definitely worth considering with the global market in mind.

There are a lot I'd say. I'm the only Leicester in an office of 10 football fans.
Fair enough. I like leicester, well run football club, sad that so many fans choose to be plastic rather than support a decent club.
To counter that my family and most of my mates support Leicester so we are well followed to a degree, but there is certainly a high percentage of plastic supporters.
We did win a few back when we won the league.
It's like staring into some dystopian vision of footballing future in this country.

Someone will probably dispute the figures, but I think we had a hardcore support numbering between 20-26,000 circa 1960s-70s. That’s how I remember it. Occasionally, Filbo would be filled to capacity (normally due to Cup matches) but as we’ve ventured on since then, people have come and gone and now they’re present at matches because we are doing okay. Whether we could fill a 63,000 ground is another matter. I personally don’t think we could.
As for those not getting behind the team, I met countless numbers of people in the area over the years who “followed” a so-called big name. I’ve found it to be laughable really but that’s a matter for them. I’ll never forget the woollen shop along Upperton Road, quite close to the old ground, which sported the Derby flag in the window for years and, before you ask, I do believe they were local people working there.
Great idea Nuneaton, you could even include a marina for people wanting to arrive by boat – and a trapdoor for ejecting any troublesome away fans into the waters below.
On the down side, the boat idea may attract Jon Gee back, I'm sure he'd be tempted to turn up by luxury cabin cruiser, quaffing iced bubbly.
Great idea.
EMUS, EMUS, EMUS we will chant, as we stand and place our hands on our hearts US anthem style.
63,000 is just not ambitious enough though. No doubt Forest and Derby fans will desert their teams in their droves and be eager to follow the great new EMU franchise at the KP Arena. Minimum 100,000 capacity or dont bother

Does that mean Florida Fox is from Florida?
He was actually born in the LRI and grew up on the Fairfield Est. Or South Wigston to the masses!
I expect Florida Fox is such as he lives in Florida. Just as Nuneaton_fox lives in Nuneaton.

I expect you are correct......
Now we could start a debate as to whether Florida Fox or Nuneaton_fox has the better location choice, but I don't want to start an argument which already has a clear answer!
(In case anybody is wondering I have access to the Lord Hop which has 4 guest beers. And before anybody starts on the weather I don't appreciate having to regularly slip, slap, slop, seek, slide, something that is rarely an issue in North Warwickshire).
