Information Requested For Fans' Safe Return

Has your club started any data collection, in order to facilitate fans' return to stadia at some point in the future?

At my club, we have been asked to register our interest by indicating the number of people (up to 4) who could be in a 'bubble' when fans are allowed back in the ground. Obviously, this is the first step, and as stated in the link, we are not guaranteed to be allowed in our own seats/stand or even in the ground.

I'm interested in what other clubs are doing.

At least some clubs seem to be making plans for the future.

At Wednesday (for the end of last season) we were offered several options. I went for a subscription to ifollow for the remaining games, a credit to my season ticket future match tickets and a shop credit - all of which has been fully implemented.

I'm in year 2 of a 5 year season ticket which I paid for previously so they already have my money. There were plenty of options and there doesn't seem to be any reluctance to pay up.

I realise that Premier League clubs will have different problems as crowds tend to be bigger than the Championship

We were told (Man City) that they are hoping to trial games in October with Seasoncard holders from last season entered into a ballot for next season on a pay as you go basis.

I suppose it's a start but it'll probably mean you can't go with your usual mates.

I would like the safe return of the money I spent on tickets for games that didn't happen. Football clubs seem to have taken a Ryanair view of returning money.

I'm surprised to hear that Spart - I would have thought that Derby would have done something to recompense fans with season tickets.

I opted for a refund for the matches I couldn’t go to last season. I had already renewed for next season. As yet I have had had neither refund nor any information about next season. I know they can’t do too much without the government deciding what will be allowed but they could at least communicate with season ticket holders in some way and there isn't any excuse for not giving the promised refund.

I agree It's understandable that clubs don't know yet what they might be allowed to do, but you should have had your refund by now - not good.

That's cool that you have a season ticket for a PL club next season already 🙂

I'm expecting Chelsea to go down that route.
