Just brought myself to watch the goals again and have to say that the goals we scored were quality!
The goals we let in for me were typical of the players at fault who I think have been really frustrating and seriously need replacing.
First goal, Sissoko gives away a needless free kick, how many’s times does he do that!? To add salt in the wounds it’s his man that he is meant to be marking who scores! All West Ham have are set pieces so I am sure José would have said about not giving away fouls.
Second goal, a simple one two down our left side, moura doesn’t track his man and then a simple cross and Sánchez heads it into our goal. Have not been impressed with Sánchez at all. The guy is just not a footballer, can’t pass, cannot read the game and a liability on crosses. Every time he has the ball I panic!
Third goal, Aurier fouls snodgrass, I have looked at it a few times and I don’t think he touches him but he had a chance to get rid of it and he didn’t. Then winks has a chance to get rid of it and doesn’t and to be fair Lanzini probably won’t hit a sweeter strike than he did.
Is it me or is it the same players letting us down?
To be fair I think Aurier has played really well this season but I suppose he will always have that brainless moment.
Sissoko has gone back to the Sissoko we first bought. He was best when he would go on those powerful runs and then lay it off. West Ham were pressing second half and there was loads of space to run into but he never did it and can’t remember the last time he did it.
Sánchez has to go, in truth I have never thought he was any good even when he had a season or two when he didn’t make many mistakes, I just don’t like players who can’t pass properly and so for me he will never be great. Dier even though makes mistakes I feel can improve.
For me every one makes mistakes but for these players it’s too often and it’s just not good enough.

Totally agree Spurtle. Our quality players like Bale, Son etc are doing their job. Even Ndombele absolute quality this season. It’s the same old donkeys like Aurier, Sanchez and even Winks. They are NOT good enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I wouldn't put Bale in there just yet mate from the 20 mins we've seen of him.
The likes of Kane, Son, Ndombele, Lloris, GLC, Reguilon, Hojbjerg....these are the players who are performing well and carrying the weaker members on their shoulders.

So fare this season:
Set piece goal vs Everton
Goal by Ings clean through
Penalty which should never have been (Ings)
Penalty that should never have been (NUFC)
Penatly from Clumsy tackle by Sanchez (Utd)
Goal from set piece (WHU)
OG (WHU)
Worldie (WHU)
so 3 pens, 2 from set pieces, 1 OG, 1 regular goal, 1 worldie.
Sanchez is totally the week link for me in all this. He's a mess and it causes panic & he's a bit of a donkey. At least Dier, who also makes errors, is more of a leader and more decisive and can pass.
But there is also game management. We should have kept the bloody ball in the last 10 minutes but failed, kept giving fouls away. Refs give every tiny bit of contact now, especially as they can hear the players yelp as they hit the deck.
What positive i do see from this is that the players can learn from it. Its an absolute killer, so disappointing and the players will feel this but at least it has not costs us too much. Its early days, loads to play for and improvement clearly necessary....even if it just hammers home that we need to be ruthless to the +90th minute, get that 4th that 5th goal. We were almost on a victory lap towards the end, but who could have envisaged that?? Well we will in future, so hopefully its a great learning experience.

Sanchez, Dier , Aurier, winks and Sissoko are simply not good enough. Complete passengers the lot of them. Fed up of carrying them. Time to get rid or just shove them on the bench and never play them again. Until we stop playing these guys, we are winning f** all
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed. Not only don't this lot bring anything to the table, but they all consistently take things away. Every poor performance is usually down to one, two or more of this group
I still don't get why Winks did not put his boot through the ball at the end of yesterday's game. It was 20 seconds away from a 3-2 win. The ball should have gone into the stands.

I come for the deluded sandy articles... The salty bitter articles like this is what I stay for
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What's salty or bitter about this?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Was gonna say, strange comment
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The accurate translation is:
“I came hoping that I’d find some salty bitter articles but I couldn’t, so decided to pretend this is one”

The same players getting slated were the same players who played in the thumping 6-1 win over United. Astonishing how supporters flip flop from one game to the next.
Just get behind the team. All this negativity does my head in. Unbeaten in eight and still moaning.

Don, so who do you suggest plays in the defence, if you don't want three of them to play ever again.

Yes the free kick had been dealt with and he just had to belt it away. Instead he kind of lobbed it and got no distance. I'd love to know whether it was an attempted pass or if he thought it wouid go further than it did?
Either way its just another example of an average player being unable to cope with a bit of pressure.

He was trying to take a touch and dribble out, because he thinks he’s better than he is.

Can’t speak for Don but I’d say Doherty, Rodon & Toby. First 2 are Jose’s signings & Toby’s our most experienced CB.

Yes just watched it back. I'm even more annoyed now all he had to do was bang it off the pitch and it was game over.
Again the lack of awareness of whats best to do in that situation is frightening.
